COMMODORES CUP

The Commodore’s Cup was presented by Surgeon Commodore Robert Harland. It was presented as a trophy for a four ball better ball match between East Devon A and B teams. With the demise of the A team the cup was redesignated as an end of season trophy played as a four ball better ball stableford by those members who have ever represented the club in a B team match. It has since been agreed by Robert Harland and the Captain’s committee that the cup continue in its current vein as an end of season trophy played for by those club members who have represented the club in any men’s club match within that season. The format continues as a four ball better ball (3/4 handicap) competition, with names drawn at random.
