JENNINGS CUPThe Jennings Cup was presented by Dr D A Jennings in 1967 and was in the form of a putting competition. The competition lapsed, but a new competition is currently being brought back, by the 2011 Captain, Mr Godfrey Kent, as a Charity Putting Game held over a year. Participants will pay a nominal sum to charity to enter, and play 18 holes on the putting green, with a monthly winner in the categories of Ladies, Men, Seniors and Juniors. The monthly winners from all categories will meet and a knockout competition will be held to find the Putting Club Champion of the year. | |
