MATHIESON CUPThe origins of the Mathieson Cup are unclear; it was first won in 1919 by Miss M Fulton. However the old notes of the history of the cups states that ‘it was won by a member who was the mother of Bunty Stanley, who was also a Bennett’! After her death her sons found the Cup and presented it to the club. It is now presented to the best nett aggregate score of both the Spring and Autumn Meetings | |
