Hole Description

We are certainly blessed with some very picturesque par threes, and this is another of them. The new green was introduced in July 2012 as a result of the course changes necessitated by the alteration to the Cliff Path. The bunkers are gradually being enhanced to show more character by building up their profile to highlight these hazards from the tee. The strike line is stunning, with the whole of Lyme Bay as a backdrop. If you pull the ball left of the green, a delicate chip is needed to gain your par. As the hole matures, the newly planted heather turf will come more into play and the hole will be extended in length to make it a little more difficult in a North Westerly wind. With one of the most beautiful strike lines in English golf and one of the largest teeing areas, the 120 to 165 yard, downhill par three will quickly become one of the signature holes on the course, if not the West of England.
